Callum LaFrance Research Fellow - Aquaculture

Callum is an attorney from Western Massachusetts. Before working for ALPP, Callum was a Legal Fellow for the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems (CAFS) and the Environmental Justice Clinic at the Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS). Callum volunteers for the Volunteer Lawyers Project’s Housing Clinic in Boston and the Environmental Justice Assistance Network. He focuses his work on land access and a just transition.

 

While attending VLGS, Callum was a Summer Honors Intern at CAFS, a Managing Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law, Student Ambassador, member of NALSA (the Native American Law Students Association), and an avid volunteer for the South Royalton Community Garden.

 

Callum came to the law from a career in acting and carpentry. He received a BA in English and Theatre from UMASS Amherst and holds a JD cum laude from Vermont Law and Graduate School where he was awarded the Lex Pro Et Urbe Award. Callum is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar.
