Join us for a panel discussion on the intersection of human and non-human reproductive control.

Event Overview

Join us for a lunch talk on the political and economic commodification of reproduction across species. This discussion will grapple with the attacks on human reproductive rights and its parallels in non-human animals and planetary systems.

The event is open to the public as well as the Harvard Community and is co-sponsored by Harvard Animal Law Society, the Alliance for Reproductive Justice and the Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law & Policy Program. You also can join via Zoom.

A vegan lunch will be served, and for those who cannot make it a recording will be uploaded to the video section of our website afterwards. The panelists will be: Professor Michele Goodwin, UC Irvine Chancellor’s Professor of Law and Harvard Law School Abraham Pinanski Visiting Professor of Law; Professor Kristen Stilt, Harvard Law School Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law & Policy Program, and Dr. Kathryn Gillespie, Postdoctoral Scholar University of Kentucky and author of The Cow with Ear Tag #1389
