December 12, 2022ALPP Visiting Fellow is one of 13 new world-renowned authorities to join EAT advisory board

ALPP Visiting Fellow Yi Jian, founder of Good Food Fund and China Vegan Society, recently joined the Advisory Board of EAT, along with Dr. Agnes Kalibata, UN Secretary-General Special Envoy for the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit and other world-renowned authorities in fields ranging from finance to agriculture.

EAT is the world’s leading non-profit organization working on global food systems transformation. It published the ground-breaking EAT-Lancet Report in 2019, by the EAT-Lancet Commission. It is now working on EAT-Lancet II at the moment.

EAT-Lancet 2.0, co-chaired by Harvard Chan professor Dr. Walter Willett, Johan Rockström, and Shakuntala Thilsted, brings together 24 Commissioners from 19 countries across various fields including human health, agriculture and livestock production, political science, behavior change, food justice and environmental sustainability.

Jian Yi is an independent filmmaker and food activist. In 2008 he founded the IFChina Original Studio, a citizen participatory media project. He founded the Good Food Fund in 2017, which leads in promoting transforming China’s food system transformation.
