Join us in person or via Zoom webinar for a panel discussion that asks: Should We Still be Using Nonhuman Primates in Medical Research?
The panel will be moderated by the Animal Law & Policy Clinic’s Director Katherine Meyer and feature Christine E. Webb PhD of the Harvard Department of Evolutionary Biology; Vivisection expert and former ALPP Visiting Fellow Larry Carbone DVM, PhD; Katherine Roe, a neuroscientist at PETA, and Erin Sharoni MBE ’23, Harvard Medical School.
The event is open to members of the public and the media as well as the Harvard community and a plant-based lunch will be served. For those unable to attend in person or via Zoom a recording will be uploaded to the video section of this website the day after the event.
This panel discussion is co-hosted by the Harvard Animal Law Society and the Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law & Policy Program at Harvard Law School.
