Please join us for a Harvard Animal Law Week talk by Wayne Hsiung, founder of Direct Action Everywhere, in which he will discuss his acquittal for “agricultural theft” by a jury in Utah in October for rescuing two dying piglets from a Smithfield factory farm. Last week’s similar acquittal of two other activists for rescuing two chickens from Foster Farms also will be discussed.

The 9th annual Harvard Animal Law Week will run from Monday, March 20 to Friday, March 24. The event is organized in collaboration with Harvard Law School’s student Animal Law Society. All sessions are open to the public as well the Harvard community, and a free plant-based lunch will be served.
